Neighborhood Impact

Circle Development’s goal is to thoughtfully construct meaningful and creative projects that not only enhance the surrounding communities but also generate sustainable growth over time. We strive to foster environments that support collaboration, innovation, and a sense of belonging for all.

A 34 acre parcel located at Red Bank and Madison Road that was home to a defunct drive-in movie theater and obsolete manufacturing facility was sitting vacant in Madisonville. However, we felt the land could better serve the community if given a new purpose. With ongoing community input and Tax Incremental Financing from the City of Cincinnati, our Founder’s vision and investment produced a 20,000 square foot pet resort, a 150-bed nursing home, a 135-unit assisted living facility, a 300-unit apartment community and an 8,000 square foot retail center that has been serving the community now for more than 17 years.

Similarly to Madisonville, a property that was the former home of a Masonic Lodge had been closed and sitting vacant. In an evolving neighborhood, this dated building no longer held value to the younger influx of people relocating to the community. By purchasing the land and repurposing it, we worked hand-in-hand with the Oakley Community Council and the City of Cincinnati to design and construct a 19-unit townhome infill project to help meet the ever-growing housing needs of the community.

We saw an opportunity to purchase and repurpose a former large chain grocery store that had been sitting vacant in Lebanon’s central business district for over 15 years. We worked closely with the City of Lebanon planning and zoning to subdivide the property and generate outparcels that are now home to a Chipotle Restaurant and a Tractor Supply store.

A vacant elevator manufacturing facility in South Boston and a former auto repair building in Saugus were renovated in 2008 and 2019 to become home to the Red Dog Pet Resort. Our Founder’s mission was to grow the business model to meet an underserved need in a major metropolitan community.
